Replacement better than original!,

I've owned this Braun coffeemaker since the early 1980's and I like it better than new ones, except for the carafe. Every few year I break the thin, crummy carafe that comes with it, and then I have to replace it. Not only was the original carafe prone to break, but, it was impossible to pour without dribbling. (What I LIKE about this coffee maker is that it's a beautiful simple small elegant design, and there is no latch to let people pour coffee before the entire pot is complete.)
Well to my pleasant surprise, this latest carafe replacement by Braun is much thicker glass AND no longer dribble when I pour. Imagine that. Braun not only continues to offer a replacement carafe for a 25 year old product, but, they IMPROVED IT!! Bravo Braun!!! |
