The part was new as advertised. Packaged very well. Arrived very fast. Excellent source of parts, glad I ordered from them. My Braun coffee pot now has a new life.

We like our Braun coffee maker very much. However, the same part (filter basket) has failed on several similar models we've owned. The basic model we prefer seems to have been discontinued, so we bought two new baskets from an Amazon Marketplace merchant. Presto--two "new" coffee makers at very reasonable cost, and two fewer non-functioning appliances in the landfill.

This was exactly what I needed. Coffee maker works they way it was intended.

For those of you who are still attached to your "old school" Braun Aromaster coffee makers, this replacement filter will allow you to continue to use your machine (until that poorly designed part breaks again, or your coffee maker finally dies...god forbid :) Braun stopped making this machine quite awhile ago, and it is difficult to find a comparable replacement these days, let alone parts. Once that little wire spring underneath gives out, I think you can still use the machine, but you'll have to kiss your stop brew feature goodbye, and being impatient, this feature is crucial for me. I was very happy to find this replacement filter basket, as the alternative probably would have been to throw it away. I have been using it daily for over a year and so far so good. As long as my coffee maker keeps working, I will buy this again if I have to.

Bought one basket and a back-up. Love the coffee maker, it fits in the "appliance corral" we have in our kitchen. The system for removing the pot while the coffee is still brewing uses a spring that eventually wears down. I will rue the day when I have to purchase another coffee maker. The basket works and it was shipped timely.

If you have a Braun coffee maker that uses this basket, I recommend you make the purchase. It's sad this coffee maker is no longer made.

The Braun coffee maker that this basket fits on was the best deal ever in brewers. Trouble is, they don't make anything comparable any more. The new ones are much higher in price and have many unneeded bells and whistles. So I bought two of these as backups for my two Braun brewers. One negative is that the part that breaks after years of use is a 1 cent part but you have to buy the whole basket.
