Junk!,
This review is from: Braun Cruzer 6 Precision Cruzer, 6 High Definition Precision (Health and Beauty)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
I have shaven with the Braun electric razor for the last 5 years. I have always been impressed with Braun razors because they run smooth, cut well, and perform flawlessly. The best analogy that I could give is that shaving with a Braun is like driving a fine Mercedes or other German car. You can imagine how excited I was to have this product arrive. While I like the Braun shavers, I needed something to do precision trimming around mustache and goatee.
Wow, was this little device a disappointment. It was just like the cheepo ones you would get on an infomertial, or at Walmart, except greatly overpriced. My findings are summarized below: Cons: 1) With either trimming attachment on, the trimmer trimmed NOTHING. The mustache or beard never made its way to the cutting head. 2) If you took the attachments off, the trimmer would immediately become "bogged down" if you tried to trim mustache or beard. No where near the power needed to finish trim a mustache. 3) With the trimming attachment off, you could trim your eyebrows a little bit, but it is a disaster waiting to happen to put an uncovered cutting head to your eyebrows. Too easy to botch the brow. Pros: 1) Stylish grey case. In using this I was perplexed how such a dysfunctional device could come to market. Did they ever actually try to trim anything with it? In reading all the positive reviews, I am curious if anyone had actually tried to use it to shape a beard or mustache? I was severely disappointed. I had always believed the Braun brand to represent products with impeccable quality. Not this time. Don't waste your money.

Useful In A Limited Way,

I am pleased with this trimmer for some things. I wouldn't say that it would be helpful in trimming a beard or a mustache. The 2 attachments practically let no hair get through(although I did have a limited success on my eyebrows with the shorter attachment). So you would have to be very careful on sideburns or mustache; a little slip and you are Charlie Chaplain.
But I do like it for trimming body hair. The small size makes it convenient and safe for areas that might not be easy to get at with a larger razor.

I'm not too impressed by this little trimmer. I can't see much use for the various combs that go on the tip. If you need a combed trimmer your probably not doing any minute-detail work.
Its not very powerful, being powered by one AAA battery. Thick hair will slow it down. I hate that it flings hairs anywhere it wants too. Murphy's Law (maybe) seems to be kicking those hairs into my eyes. The raw trimmer doesn't cut clean enough, you still need to pass with a real razor. All in all I'm not throwing mine away. I have a few uses for it.

Braun Cruzer 6 Precision Trimmer,
This review is from: Braun Cruzer 6 Precision Cruzer, 6 High Definition Precision (Health and Beauty)
I've bought quite a few small trimmers like this and been disappointed every time by poor quality, lack of strength, attachments. Unfortunately this Braun trimmer is no better. The attachments aren't very varied, none short enough to use on the eyebrows. Battery power isn't enough to drive this little clipper, perhaps if it was a rechargeable like the other clippers in this line it would be better. But then there's the issue of the attachments, nothing will fix that problem. At least it isn't too expensive, and it might work for you, probably fine without any attachments if you're trying to get rid of neck hair or fine tune beard line, but ultimately disappointing from this manufacturer.

You should skip this one!,

Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
This Braun Cruzer 6 is weak, noisy and not very effective. I got it for my Husband to use on his sideburns, eyebrows and other manly stray hairs. I was hoping he could use this instead of dulling out his face razor or unpacking our huge hair trimmer. He tried it on his sideburns first. The hair looked like it was verily even trimmed. He tried all of the attachments with similar results! It didn't really trim any hair, it was loud and it did not even go through the hair smoothly. I can only imagine what it would be like on beards, goatees or mustaches. There are better trimmers out there for about the same price, or maybe a little more. Spend your money on those.

This "high def precision" trimmer is just a very cheap plastic trimmer that you can probably find at a dollar store or "as seen on tv." (My motto: If it's seen on TV, leave it on TV!) Having said this, I have to admit that this is the second one I've owned. At about $10-$15, I don't expect this trimmer to last long, but it does what it says and is ok for trimming mustaches, nose and ear hair.

I have a goatee and am constantly on the look out for things which will help me keep it trimmed with a minimum of fuss. Unfortunately, this is not the trimmer which will help me do that.
Despite the highly sculpted look of the model on the box, this trimmer will not do that kind of precise sculpting. It has two "combs" for different lengths of hair, but sill not shave down close to the skin like a razor. I consider the packaging extremely deceptive and misleading. This device is designed to trim eyebrows and body hair to keep it at an optimal length, not sculpt it into cool shapes. If you need a device to keep eyebrows, mustaches, etc., at a specific length, the this will work quite well. Beyond that, if has no function. It is rechargeable and is yet another plug-in wall wart to find plug space and keep track of.

Got Caterpillar Brows? You'll Love the Cruzer.,

Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
Alright, so my opinion of this one is definitely not from using it on my own body. I'm a lady and I pay to have a great gal at the spa wax my brows into perfection. But how many guys do you know who would willingly submit themselves to the torture that is getting a brow wax? There's no way I could convince my husband that getting a pro to do his brow grooming might make him feel better about the genetic malady that is the hair growing over his eyes.
When this little precision trimmer popped up it was like someone was reading my mind and knew I needed something to offer my man as a compromise. I don't want him crazily manscaped but neatly trimmed brows isn't asking too much when there's a trimmer like this. At this point you're probably asking me what the heck I'm talking about brows for but one of the uses not detailed in the product info on the page, but in the actual product packaging, is trimming eyebrow hair to a uniform length. Now, all that said this is not a super powerful machine. This is NOT a beard trimmer, this is the kind of device you use to clean up the edges and patchy spots. If you wanna do some heavy duty work this just isn't strong enough for it you'll need an actual beard trimmer or hair slippers. About the size of one of those chunky pens that seem to be popping up everywhere this fits nicely in our medicine chest but feels like it would break if it fell to the floor. Watching my hubs doing a little trimming of the brows and the cheek area (he's one of those unfortunate men who would LOVE a full beard but only gets patchy in the region between lush sideburns and chin) we chatted about his opinion and I can judge the results as the one who gets to feel that face everyday. Overall he likes it a lot. Taming his mad scientist brows seems to have given him a confidence boost and he liked that it was so quick and easy. He felt it wouldn't quite hold up to his thick sideburns but it did an okay job cleaning up his patchy spots. As to the prospect of using it to trim a design into his hair... neither of us (since I'd be the one doing it) felt it would really be strong enough and honestly... unless you're really steady handed (which I am NOT at all) and know what you're doing why would you want to do it yourself? I can just see my poor man's head looking like a jack o'lantern from my attempts. lol So if you're looking for a good brow groomer we both agree that is its best use but know you're getting a very lightweight trimmer best used for lightweight jobs.

I got this for my finace and he says it's just okay. It reminds me alot of the pink female bikini trimmer that was sold a few years ago. It didn't work too well, just made alot of noise.

I use this to keep things neat and tidy and it works great, better than the drug store brand trimmer I was using. It comes with two guides which work great at keeping the shrub evenly trimmed without worry of nicking in areas that are hard to navigate. It is very quiet too which is nice. It is nice and small and fits easily in the bathroom drawer or in its little stand without taking up counter space. Highly recommend!
