This appealing blender looks great, with a rounded triangular shape that marries form and function. It pours perfectly and cleans beautifully, but what I noticed first was the terrific grip on the handle: firm and comfortable, like a great handshake. The lid is also well designed, sealing easily and snugly, with tiny rubber tips attached on three sides to facilitate a smooth release and opening. This blender packs a lot of power, pureeing in seconds and turning eggs and oil into mayonnaise in less than two minutes. And, with its durable steel blades, crushed ice is no problem. Three speeds let you whip up everything from chunky salsa to velvety soups; there's also a pulse mode when you need an extra surge to add solids or give something one last stir. As a bonus, this blender looks great on the counter or stores easily in two parts in the cupboard. --C. Whitney-Ward

My fiance and I run a small daiquiris business during the summer months. We purchased 3 of these blenders for our first event which was one full year ago. The blenders are still holding up fine after 2000 + daiquiris. We purchased a few commercial grade blenders and had to take them back, because they could not hold out. We wanted a few more of these blenders and could not find them anywhere. It doesn't appear like they are in the stores or they sell out real fast. If you are looking for an inexpensive blender that can stand the test of 1,000 of frozen daiquiris....and I'm talking about ice crushing power...This is the one for the job!

My friend purchased this blender this summer. It handles frozen fruit chunks and ice better than any machine I've seen. I have been searching for it ever since. I expected it to cost much more. Can't wait to buy it.

I've used several blenders over the years, all in the (dollar amount) range, and was always frustrated with their power and durability. This one is different. I've been using it regularly for about six months, and it still chops ice like nobody's business. A great product for a great price.
