Product Description

Modest and functional, the WK210 220 Volt kettle from Braun reveals itself to be both practical and extremely safe. In fact, the WK210 kettle may be placed on its stand without any worry as it turns 360° to guarantee maximum for righties and lefties and the water level is indicated on both sides. The large opening facilitates filling up and, to avoid limescale build-up, the resistance is hidden and allows for easy cleaning. The filter on the other hand holds back all water impurities. For 100% safety, the WK210 kettle automatically stops when the water reaches boiling point, if the lockable lid is open, if it is not on the stand and if there is no water in it. Finally, the WK210 can boil up to 1.6 litres of water at a time.

We thought this teapot could be used in the states. We were very surprised to find out we couldn't use it because it was made to be used in Europe. Where did it say that in the description??

Watch out! What was advertised did NOT indicate that it was 220 volt (therefore unuseable in the USA!). Of course, what displayed for me to review did have upper case notation regarding useless product for the States. Otherwise, had similiar appropriate product and we loved it.
