5.0 out of 5 stars Great nursing bra
I was having trouble finding a nursing bra that was supportive and comfortable. After searching around online for a while, I decided to order one of these bras. I love it! I ended up buying 2 more. It is supportive and comfortable. Even though it is a sports bra style, it doesn't squeeze my breasts together. I use it for sleeping in and during the day. I would even...

3.0 out of 5 stars Leopard print is stiffer fabric than the solids. If you want it soft, get the solid colors., October 28, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I have this bra in both the leopard print, and the light pink bra in the same style. The pink one is fabulously soft and comfortable and wonderful. The leopard one is cute, but it's a much stiffer fabric. Although I was happy to find a funner print in a nursing bra, I have to say that comfort comes first for me, which is why I only gave it three stars. I'd give the pink one 5 stars b/c it's one of my favorites! It makes a great sleep bra when pregnant and nursing. The style and brand of bra is great... just realize that if you want really soft fabric that you're better off with the solid than with the print.

4.0 out of 5 stars Maximum coverage for those of us busty girls!, March 8, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This looks huge, and it does provide MAX coverage, but it is a great bra. I use this at night as a nursing bra (It covers the whole breast so when you get engorged it doesn't cut into you like some of the demi styles do). It also give some additional support unlike a lot of the night-time nursing bras do, which also helps keep the pads in place while you sleep (although I haven't found anything that works perfect yet).

2.0 out of 5 stars Okay, but really not worth the money., February 17, 2006

During my pregnancy, I rushed out and bought two of these bras after having them recommended by several people. All I can say is I don't understand what all the fuss is about. It's basically a very tight sports bra with snaps. My daughter is now three months old and I find that I wear the Bravados only when my $12 Motherhood Maternity sleep bras are dirty. I love the Motherhood bras (though I wear the sleep bra all day long). They are much softer, easier to get on and off and the cups just pull down instead of snapping. Even with the Bravado, I just pull the cup down instead of snapping it because it is so cumbersome to re-snap. I won't be buying anymore Bravados. I'll stick with the Motherhood bras or a cheap regular sports bra from now on.

4.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable, basic nursing bra, December 14, 2011

I'm a 32H in most bras, in my second trimester (and not nursing), and I ordered this in S+ (32-36 C-D) and S++ (32-36 DD-F) sizes.

Pros:
+ Both sizes work surprisingly well for me. The S++ offers more coverage (and therefore more room to grow) and the material has enough give that S+ might work when my milk comes in, too.
+ Because the band on these bras aren't hooked (sports bra-style), it's comfortable and works really well without riding up even though I have a smaller ribcage.
+ Super comfy in general. No itching, no weird seams (though it isn't seamless), nice soft cotton stretch fabric.
+ Surprisingly supportive even though it doesn't have an underwire or hooked band. I might even be able to get away with wearing it out.

Cons:
- The material is thin enough for nipples to show through (why don't more nursing bra manufacturers take this into account?)
- The S++ size gives a "uniboob" effect; the S+ size keeps the breasts separate and doesn't have this problem.

In short, this is a great all-around nursing bra, especially for at home and sleeping, and maybe even for wearing out. I think it's a better choice than the Bravado Body Silk Seamless bra. I still prefer the Bravado Bliss as a t-shirt bra mostly because of the molded cup design.

As a 34DD, I was concerned about support during nursing. I spared no expense in buying nursing bras so that I could find the most comfortable. This one wins on every level. It is very comfortable, provides great support, and allows one-handed snapping and unsnapping. Plus, they are more affordable than many of the other bras for larger cup sizes.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best maternity/ nursing bra for fuller bustlines, June 15, 2005
This is the first time I felt compelled to write a review, but this bra is wonderful. I am still in my third trimester of pregnany and have already purchased a total of 5-7 different maternity bras. Bravado's is the best. Starting with a D cup, my breast began growing at the same rate as my belly and now at a E-F cup. Other brands in a size 36E began to start pinching at my sides.

I needed something that was comfortable with lots of support. The Bravado Plus and Double Plus is my savior. It is comfortable with wide underbust support in a breatheable cotton/ lyra fabric.

The only negative part of this bra are the seams on the side of the nipple. It is impossible to go for a seamless look. However, the excellent functionality of this bra makes it all worthwhile. I would highly recommend this to anyone with breasts larger than a C cup!

5.0 out of 5 stars Extremely comfortable; Highly recommend!, March 29, 2009

I love these bras. My only mistake was buying them when I was ~36 weeks pregnant with my first. I was straddling 4 sizes (M, M+, L, and L+) and we decided to stick with the smallest because it really fit the best. Bad idea! As soon as I gave birth and my milk came in, these bras were so painful and tight!!! I ended up selling 6 M's, slightly used, on eBay. I kept one and wouldn't you know, it's now my favorite bra, over 2 years later, while pregnant with my 2nd (and still nursing the 1st!). Now the M is starting to get a little skimpy again so I'm buying a large or two to start with. I do recommend these -- they are supportive, comfortable (when they fit properly -- though I don't think anything would have been comfortable in my super-sore/engorged state!), and don't look half bad under clothes ;).

5.0 out of 5 stars Love this bra!, December 26, 2006
I love it. I tried so many nursing bras before my friend recommended this one. I'm even on this page so that I can buy a new one. It's so comfortable, supportive and a great style. There's no underwire and the snaps are great. It's worth the money so don't be turned off by the price. It's so much better paying a little extra for a super comfortable bra which you really need when you're breastfeeding.
