5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful Teaching for a Powerful Book, July 1, 2006
By
This review is from: Brave New World Literature Guide (Common Core and NCTE/IRA Standards-Aligned Teaching Guide) (Paperback)
I found this literature guide to be extremely helpful when teaching Brave New World to my Seniors. There are so many complex issues that Ms. Bowers addresses perfectly. I am grateful that there is acutally someone out there that is willing to tackle the issues of the novel so that I may teach it the way I want. Not only does Ms. Bowers understand the complexities, she also integrated these complexities with the content standards, allowing me to teach this great literature without guilt. Highly recommended for those who take their teaching seriously.
