I would have to disagree with other consumers who find this product "sticky" or "bland". This product is a SUPERIOR after-shave gel that is soothing, healing, and really quite pleasant!!! Besides that, it is really economical in that you just need a small dollop per shave to do the trick, and the handy nozzle is helpful in that regard. I have a rather heavy beard and sensitive skin; trust me, I've tried many, many after-shaves, including Jack Black and Kiehl, and they were nothing special. The Kiehl made my skin crawl--and talk about bland!!! Brave Soldier has a really mild, minty thing going on, and it dries up quickly on your face. You might have to rinse your hands, but no big deal there. Also, if after you shave and you have a rough patch to go over, Code Blue makes an excellent shave prep as well.

And, gentlemen (and perhaps a few of you gals as well), there is nothing quite like shaving your lady friend and then applying the smoothy cool Code Blue, then lightly blowing...it tingles the size of Niagara Falls. I'll leave the rest to your imagination..

A superior product. Never be without it!!!

Mu husband loves this aftershave. He has tried everything on the market and thankfully stumbled across this a year ago. He has a tough beard and shaving is often very uncomfortable. This is the only product he has found to help. He recommends it whenever the subject comes up.

I've been hearing great stuff about BS in general, specifically code blue, but it's pretty mediocre. Far from a "silky film," it leaves a sticky residue on the face after application. The lidocaine helps after a rough shave, but no more than basic, cheap witch hazel. It doesn't smell great, either - kind of blandly medicinal and unisex, like Ben-Gay. In the future, I'll go with Jack Black or Kiehl's.
