Our Hollow line of furniture reveals the potential interiors in each piece. This bench has hollow cubby access from the sides. Clean lines and contrasting tones of dark and light Bamboo are used to show volume and accentuate negative space. The smooth surface is finished with BioShield Organic Herbal Oil. Brave Space's Green Page: The Policy. At Brave Space our policy is to optimize our use of materials, thereby minimizing the amount of waste and scrap. Bamboo plywood is made from 100% rapidly renewable bamboo, using adhesives that are both strong and emissions free. FSC certified Plywood (Forest Stewardship Council). FSC tracks the wood from its forest of origin all the way through the chain of custody to where the product is sold. An FSC certified product has been harvested and produced in a stringently eco-sensitive manner. Finishes, Glues & Adhesives. At Brave Space we use only paints, stains, adhesives, and sealants with low or zero VOCs (volatile organic compounds). We finish all products with either hand-applied organic-herbal oil or a water-based spray finish. Wind Based Power. In our shop, we use clean, emission free wind and small-hydro energy reducing the need for energy from other sources. Local Suppliers and Manufacturers.
