This review is from: Bravo for the Bride (Hardcover)
Two ladies write these mysteries that take place in medieval Italy under the pen name, "Elizabeth Eyre". I picked up this the series since I enjoy Sharon Penman and Ellis Peters books as well. I found in Sigismondo that favorite blend of mystery, tenderness, violence and smarts that makes for a great mystery novel in any genre. Bravo for the Bride has some great twists, turns and puts Sigismondo into so much peril I was on the edge of my seat. Didn't put it down. E.E. does some great things with medieval Italy, peasants and dogs too... have fun!

I enjoyed this book because the characters were fun to watch in my mind's eye. Sigismondo's adventures are entertaining and perilous.
