My wife got this scooter for my daughter who is almost two years old, in order to keep her off her big brother's two wheeled scooter. I put the product together only to find that the back wheels wouldn't even turn. I called product support to find out if this was a common issue, but there was an 87 minute wait, so I decided to abandon my efforts and return the scooter. My guess is the company has sacraficed quality in order to keep the price down. Therefore ,the plastic "spacers", which are supposed to allow the wheels to turn, ended up being to large for the wheel assembly and prevented the wheels from turning.

Based on some of the other reviews of other scooters, it is possible you may very well have better luck than me as I imagine there is a wide variety in how the spacers turn out. Just save your purchase info, as you may need to pack it up and send it back.

My daughter received this scooter for her 4th birthday. She loves it!!!! My husband put it together in about 20 minutes and it works great! Back wheels turn just fine...perhaps the other reviewer had a defective one. The wheels are very sturdy and smooth. THe three wheels make it easy for the young ones to play on it without tipping over. My 6 year old loves it too, so I think this scooter would make a great gift for the 3-7 year old child.

just don't put the washers on the back wheels if you want it to roll easily. otherwise the wheels are a bit too stiff. just leave the washer off and BAM! the problems solved.

I purchased the Dora Scooter for my 4 year old daughter. After a couple of hours of trying to get it put together I found out that it was missing 2 washers. I had washers in my tool box that worked in place of the missing ones. She rode it for 2 days & went over a very small drop down & the pink cover that the back axle goes through broke. I would not recommend this product to anyone. I am very displeased with the scooter & I am in the process of sending it back. My daughter was so excited when she saw her Dora Scooter & then cried her eyes out when it broke & when I told her that there was no way for me to fix that problem. I am just glad that when it broke it didn't throw her off balance enough to fall & get hurt. There would have been a law suit for sure then.

I brought this for my daughter and she fell two times because the tired holder break down. The plastic thing that hold the wheel is not so good, but other than that it's fine I guess.

My 3 year old daughter loves this scooter and has a very easy time riding it. It is sturdy and pretty easy to assemble. Highly recommend.

Someone bought this for my daughter 4 years ago. She loves it to this day in fact, she 7 years old now and is starting to grow out of it, but refuses to upgrade.

My 3-year old daughter got this scooter for Christmas, and she absolutely loves it! She rides it around the house on a daily basis and has gotten very good at it very quickly. Assembly was very easy. I would definitely recommend it to others.
