4.0 out of 5 stars Is it worth the extra cost?
It is a fun new idea on an old favorite, but is it worth the extra price? My kids do love it. I bought two, one for my 6 year old daughter and one for my 5 year old son (different colors of course). They can use it as a regular scooter and push along with their foot, or use the kick bar, which can be a little awkward at first. I should tell you that it does not roll...

2.0 out of 5 stars A regular scooter is better
The Kick and Go scooter does not get used frequently. It's a lot more effort to keep it going compared to a regular scooter. It's very hard for my kids to use if there's is any incline on the sidewalk or road. I should tell you that it does not roll backwards because of the gears and is a little heavier than a regular scooter. My kids don't seem to have any problems with it and just pivot off the back wheel when they want to flip around. It is well made, very sturdy (I did try it). I found when I kicked the bar I didn't have great balance but that got better with practice. As for speed, I think it's the same whether you kick or push. I think regular scooters go a little faster because they are lighter. It has a kick stand so you can stand it up, but I found it to be a unreliable unless it is a very flat surface. Over all I think it was worth the extra cost. It is nice to have the choice of propulsion and I think my kids would have been disappointed with anything else. They were very specific as to which one they wanted for Christmas because it looks cool and is just a little bit different.

My 5 year old loves this scooter. I thought it might take him a few tries to get the rhythm down, but he was sailing along right away. Great idea for a scooter!

5.0 out of 5 stars kick n go nitrous scooter, January 6, 2009

i was very happy with the product it self and how fast it was delivered , but extremly upset with the fact that it was delivered in it's original packaging and not in a plain brown box like most items are shipped the box was damaged during shipping and was left on my front porch for all to see , in pooring down rain ,this is a $100.00 scooter and anyone could see it on my porch and could have stole it not to mention it was a christmas gift for my 7 year old who still believes but luckly he did not see it .
he loves his scooter and is on it every chance he gets , so despite the way the delivery was handled its a great product and i highly recomend it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cool scooter, January 14, 2009

We have all the scooters out there so I thought this one might be cool since you can't push it with your foot. It is pretty cool. It's nothing new since we are used to scooters but it gives it a new twist. It really works too. It's great exercise. I think it's more work than just pushing with your leg :)

1.0 out of 5 stars Save the garage space, October 22, 2011
This review is from: Bravo Nitrous Junior Scooter (Sports)
I highly recommend not buying this scooter or any other kick N go scooters like it. My son got one because it looked fun in the store when we were looking at bikes, but he got home (after pay for it with his own money, i should say), and rode it for five minutes and then told me that it "sucks". i recommended that he should take it back and get a refund, but he thought it might be more fun in the spring.
That was 2 years ago. Since then, it hasn't been touched and it just taking up space in my garage.

VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED.
AS SOON AS MY SON STARTED TO PUMP IT TO GO FASTER, IT SLOWED IT DOWN. THIS IS A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY, COULD NOT SEND IT BACK AS WE HAD THROWN THE BOX AWAY. IT JUST DOES NOT WORK, NO SPEED UNLESS YOU USE YOUR FEET, BUT THEN YOU MIGHT AS WELL SPEND 1/2 OF THE MONEY ONLY AND INDULGE IN A REGULAR SCOOTER. IF YOU WANT TO HAVE ONE, YOU CAN HAVE MINE, I AM SURPRISE IT HAS NOT BEEN OUT OF THE MARKET AS THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT DO WHAT IT IS SUPPOSED TO DO!

4.0 out of 5 stars My daughter loves it - poor customer support, September 29, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
My daughter loves this scooter, and she plays with it every day (she's 9 years old). My only problem was that the scooter shipped with no front wheel in the box. It took me two weeks to get a new front wheel from the manufacturer. I understand that packing mistakes happen, but I expected the manufacturer to try harder to resolve the issue. Making a child wait for two weeks before she can play with a birthday present does not meet my expectations.

4.0 out of 5 stars It rides beatifully, April 4, 2010
This review is from: Bravo Nitrous Junior Scooter (Sports)
My daughter's friend just got one of these.
It does ride beatifully. The feeling that you do not need to kick the ground is increadible.
But you need to remember that it IS a toy - the pumping does not make it ride any faster.
And when I tried it - the frame is too short for an adult making the pumping uncomfortable.

Overall, I think that it is a very good toy if you are looking for an expensive one.
But a regular Razor seems to be just as good for riding.
