5.0 out of 5 stars A MUST if you own a pop up tent!
NO more tie downs or staking into the ground, just use these universal weights! I bought mine at Dicks Sporting store. The good thing about these weights is that they are universal- which means you can use them for any pop up tent- and they are easy to cart around. 3.0 out of 5 stars won't hold
Each weight is 5 lbs for a total of 20 lbs. Not enough weight to keep from sliding all over the place with the wind in the canopy. I double the weights up on one side and tied down the other side of my canopy, it still slid all over my composite deck.

5.0 out of 5 stars A MUST if you own a pop up tent!, June 8, 2010

NO more tie downs or staking into the ground, just use these universal weights! I bought mine at Dicks Sporting store. The good thing about these weights is that they are universal- which means you can use them for any pop up tent- and they are easy to cart around. It's a must to have some form of tie down or weights for these tents because they will blow away with the slightest burst of the wind! I learned the hard way so you didn't have to. Hope this helps :)

4.0 out of 5 stars Canopy Weights, August 21, 2010

These weights serve their purpose in light to moderate breeze, but at just 5 pounds per leg, one would need more than one set for a stonger wind.
I'm glad I bought them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Weights for Wind, August 16, 2010

This was a super clever idea by someone. We've tried to weigh down canopies with coolers, backpacks, etc. These really do the trick. I made sure my new canopy had air vents in the top, but when the wind blows hard, the canopy still wants to lift. These weights keep the canopy on the ground! They are heavy and awkward to transport, but it beats losing your canopy in the wind.

4.0 out of 5 stars They work, August 9, 2010

THis product works as promised. I wouldn't use them if it's super windy outside because you'll end up potentially breaking your pop-up tent; however, for a breezy day, these weights work.

5.0 out of 5 stars Must have for the tent!, August 18, 2010

The first storm our tent ended upside down on our deck. So I finally listened to my husband & ordered the weights. Amazing product and took about 15 seconds to put in place, and looks great. I love the tent because I'm not running outside to put the umbrella down everytime it gets windy or stormy. It's much bigger than our umbrella, which due to the hot east coast weather were all sold out. Amazon did it again! Great product along with a great tent for ease of use!

I love these clever canopy weights. If the wind is high enough, nothing will keep your tent from flying away but these compact weights really do help. After slipping mine over the feet of my canopy, I put a small barbell across it, just for a little more weight.

Works just as it should. Even used one on two tents at once that were side by side. And even worked during a rain storm that blew through our tailgate.

These weights look like little barbell weights with slits in them. They fit my Bravo Sports 133958 10' x 10' Blue Canopy and held everything down on our camping trip without the need for stakes. This will be especially useful when we park the canopy on cement for other events. Small and compact with enough heft to do the job, just what we needed.
