This review is from: Brazil (Audio CD)
I take a star off only because I am still not used to what Charlie ROuse was trying to do. His goal on this recording was to bring the most creative musical minds of Brazil and New York together in whirlwind of mind blowing jazz. He pulled off his goal with his trademark solos he made famous as the forgotten sax player in Monks latter Quartet. A highly recommended slice of Bossa Nova twinged music. Buy it and give it a spin. In time you will find it will grow on you.
