This is a great disc. It contains three formats: pcm 2 channel audio, dts, and dvd-a. Don't be confused. I have 3 discs from this series and are highly recommended. See actual description from manufacturer:Description: Audio Options: 5.1 MLP for DVD-Audio Players; 5.1 DTS for DTS-Capable systems; 2.0 PCM for all DVD-Video players

A friend loaned this to me to try on my
multichannel surround/home theater setup. Wow! This is one of the most LIVE sounding receodings I've tried. The percussion is precisely placed in space and theI've just ordered one for myself. Highly reconmmended!

This is an excellent DVD Audio disc. It sounds superb on my Denon player. Brilliant DVD Audio sound. The DTS is also good (who would even try the 2 channel if you bought this disc). I recommend this disc to any fan of Brazilian music and anyone interested in fine sound reproduction!

The music was what I expected: great brazilian jazz, easy listening.
I bought it partially to test the DTS functionality of my audio setup and the DVD does a very nice job in that respect, too. The DVD does include both Audio and Video. I didn't expect any video as the disk is being sold as "DVD Audio". The background pictures are quite nice and it is interesting to read the details about the track being played. The only drawback of course is that you need to know your way around "blindly" if you don't want to switch on your TV and only want to listen to the audio tracks - but blind navigation is easy enough to remember.

This is NOT DVD-AUDIO!!!,

This is DTS's ploy to confuse the public. DVD-A has nothing to do with DTS. This is a DTS encoded disc. It is not even a red book CD!
