Caio Pagano, Freeman and the Czeck Orchestra gives us a beautiful present by recording the Choro and The Concertino for piano and orchestra by Guarnieri. Pagano's playing is refined, full of true Brazilian groove without being too much, which is something Guarnieri never was...and the tone colors...magnificent! The communication among the orchestra and the soloist is superb, understanding that these pieces are extremely tricky. The Danca Negra and some ponteios for solo piano complete this beautiful tribute to one of Brazil's most prolific and important composer.
