I found that many of the wheat-free recipes didn't bake up with much 'oomph' in my bread machine. They were dense, hard, and sometimes overcooked on the outside/raw in the middle. When I tried to bake the doughs in regular pans in the oven, I often misjudged the correct baking temperature.

There are better bread machine books out there, and many Internet sites contain...

There are better bread machine books out there, and many Internet sites contain spelt, rice and other non-wheat bread recipes.

I only recently started baking bread with a bread machine and found that this book had some great recipes and ideas. The nutritional information definitely an added plus.
