This is an excellent product. Easy to use and clean. It makes excellent bread if you use fresh yeast. Homemade bread has no chemicals or preservatives so is healthier for your family to eat. It kneads and cooks the bread while you do other chores around the house. Breadmaking can't get any easier than that!

We love it! Simple, quick to learn and the recipes are great.
The programmable delay option is a must...the smell of fresh bread baking while you're still in bed is priceless!

The smartest thing I've ever done related to making bread is to purchase the Breadman TR520. Follow the instructions!! A must! I use the Breadman to make my bread from the very beginning. I create the dough, which takes 1:20, then form it into the proper loaf, let it rise again, then bake it in my oven. This machine kneads the finest dough that you can imagine. Pizza dough is "killer", trust me. You will be very happy with with the results from this beauty!!

Our 20 year old Rival finally gave out and this our replacement. After over 2 dozen loafs, this machine makes excellent bread including the family sourdough. Only one complaint is the control panel; hence only four stars. Very poor human factors putting white words on a yellow backgroud. Very difficult to read and the fool that designed the panel should be flogged. Manual is complete and very informative for the new breadmaker.

This machine makes a good loaf of bread. I didn't know what type of machine to purchase and finally chose this one and it turned out to be a good selection.

Bread machine is not too expensive and is small enough to fit on the kitchen counter. Makes delicious bread and dough. I love that it can make 1, 1.5 and 2 pound loaves. I also like that the loaves are oblong, not round. The dough paddle hole left in the bread does not bother me. I have used the timer many times to make bread and it works great, but the dough setting cannot use the timer. I make pizza, pretzel and croissant dough, and all kinds of bread of all sizes, including whole wheat. Simple and easy to use. The recipes that come with the machine are delicious, and I have used other recipes as well.

I made this purchase based reviews I read here, and an online site called "breadmachine digest". THEY recommend that you buy any affordable machine and JUST START baking because how would you know what you want or need in a bread machine if you've never used one? That was just the push I needed and I was able to get this machine for under $60.00.
I am an experienced home cook (a mom with grown kids) and former restaurant co-owner (gourmet pizza). I have made bread products by hand and with a vertical cutter/blending machine. BUT now I don't have to cook for anyone and I live in an efficiency apartment with no counters. I love GOOD bread and was spending $4 - $5 a loaf, so THAT is how I justified this purchase! The amount of reading involved before my first loaf was a little discouraging and I see why these things get put away (or given away) when presented to someone else as a gift ... LOL! It helped that "breadmachine digest" suggested baking a purchased "breadmachine mix" for a first go-that way your variable is just the machine. The issues I had with my first loaf are: the hard-to-read yellow labeling, and I did not push the breadpan in far enough-I was surprised by how hard I had to push down on it to "click" it in place. I figured it out after about 2 minutes, and I've recreated the label on clear address labels in black letters, and I keep the manual, handy, with my cookbooks so I can refer to the baking programs. I am baking 1 - 2 loaves a week, for the past two months. After my practice loaf I made 'basic white' so I could experiment with yeast (I use store brand fast-acting)then I started exchanging white flour for whole wheat - I am working up to a very hearty 'dakota bread'. I only use King Arthur (bread flour)because that's what we used in the restaurant due to the protein and water content is very consistant and its local for me)there are other brands that are good, too. Do your research cheap flour is not the way to go. I find the machine to be quiet; it is not as load as a mixer--about the same sound level as an electric can-opener. I have to use a wooden dresser as a counter, put the machine on a wooden cutting board and it 'walks' forward maybe 2", maximum. It does not get that hot, either. The breadmachine is wedged in between two other appliances and I can easily reach over and work around it with no fear of getting burned. I LOVE the window to watch the MAGIC! The 'Beeps" are about the same level as traffic sounds - or a text message alert. Clean-up is amazing-all I do is remove the kneading blade and run it under water to break off the bits of baked on bread, but the pan itself comes out clean. When not in use my machine lives on a bookshelf. The loaves come out golden brown all around, the loaf makes slices that are a huge: 5.5" X 6". Somehow the hole for the kneading blade "heals". I slice the entire loaf after cooling completely and store in the freezer (because there are no preservatives, remember) I am very happy with this machine and would recommend it to new bakers.

This is my second bread machine. Both are different brands. I just received this one today and made my first loaf. It worked great! Just as good as my last bread machine. I hope it lasts longer though. I seem to go through bread machines pretty fast. I make at least two loaves a week. This one is quite. Easy to clean. Made the whole house smell good! I'm ready to make my second loaf!!!

I am on a low sodium diet so have to make my own bread. This bread maker works great for making low sodium, and I'm sure regular bread too. Lots of features as far as types of breads, crust darkness etc, dough feature and tells you when to add extra ingredients. It makes kind of an odd shaped loaf - almost hard to figure out which side to cut, but I usually cut pieces in half for sandwiches, toast etc. Overall a fabulous product, for a great price. Highly recommend.

I bought this as a holiday present for my daughter. She has used it and is really happy with how it works and the results. Seems to be a good item at a good price point.
