I LOVE this bread book!,

This review is from: Breads (Mass Market Paperback)
This book (the 1983 edition) entered my life maybe 25 years ago early in my bread baking adventures! I have many many more bread books (a little compulsive) and now also have a bread machine (life is so easy and yeast is A LOT cheaper NOW). This book I still go to regularly for the massive details explaining things like `proofing yeast' - meticulous details explaining characteristics of ingredients, reactions and what to do etc with challenges. Then of course - the recipes - Grandmother's Cinnamon Rolls are great. I started using this book when my oldest was in grade school- this week I became a grandmother! I JUST ordered the 1994 edition for my brand new daddy son who wants to start baking what he loved in our home for his family!

Tha author's book on cookies is amazing. Great varieties of interesting, often international cookies recipes. Can anyone tell us if her book on bread is similar?
