I just found Ari on yahoo music and he has such a fresh and amazing voice-- I can't remember the last time I heard a man sing with such range and control. When he sings in that deep bass register it makes my toes tingle. Listen to this, you'll love it.

I've been an Ari fan for several years and this is such a wonderful new cd that I do recommend it highly. Track 1, "When and If" is a new favorite of mine, but track 10, "I've Got You", which I've heard him do live, is still a song I want to hear over and over again. I also urge listeners to catch one of his shows; he is amazing and is always available after the show to chat with fans. He is truly appreciative of his fans as well as humble.

I was introduced to his music by a friend two years ago- love it- soulful and emotional and creative. Just draws me in. Have given his CDs as gifts, as well.

First heard of him from Myspace. I recon it was "When and If" that welcomed me to Ari Hest. That was all it took. Soon after a series of events, I wound up here on Amazon and decided that the CD should be physically in my hands. "So Slow", "I've Got You", and the above song were always my favorites, but upon getting my copy, I've happily added "When to Quit" to that list. Aw crap, all songs are just A+. Great pop artist.

I couldn't tell you what the others are talking about, only that this disc is filled with careful excellence; great songs that are impossible to forget, it is well-produced and very well written. Anyone who says differently does not really know music. In short, a great pop album that does everything it should and does it well! Enjoy! There are too few albums like this these: listen and appreciate!

A beautiful masterpiece of talent and beauty. Ari's music moves me and I can't say enough about him and his work. I really look forward to seeing the future success of this young man and what more his talent will produce. I too have met him after a concert and he is as kind, generous, and humble as they say. A true artist and I love supporting him. This is one of my favorite soothing albums that I always go back to.

When I stumbled across this CD, I was wonderfully suprised. I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into when I purchased the CD, but I liked the cover and I was crossing my fingers that his music would be as pleasing to my ears as the cover was easy on my eyes. When I first played this CD, I knew that I had found one of my new favorite artists!

If you like a strong male vocalist, and wonderful guitar accompaniment, The Break-In *is* for you! I highy recommend this CD!

I heard samples of this album on a free sampler CD and liked it immediately. I bought the album and we play it often. Considering Ari Hest wrote most of the songs and also does the vocals, and some of the instruments, I think he is talented. I bought this second album for a friend.

I was looking for an acoustic guitar player/singer and tried Ari Hest and I am happy to tell you that this CD is outstanding, both in content, quality of the singing by Ari and the guitar playing is exciting to hear and you want to dance to at least three of his songs. The love songs are
touching and grab your heart. The fast songs are fun and a delight to
listen to. I recommend this Artist Highly. I have just purchaed three more CD's by him!

I've been a fan of Ari Hest for a very long time--since before he was signed to a label, so I might just be a little biased. He's committed one of his best songs ("I've Got You") to CD as well as many other wonderfully-written, whimsical, thoughtful tracks. Favorites so far are "The Break-In," "When to Quit," "Bird Never Flies." The rest of the tracks are fantastic, but I think you'd just have to listen to all of Ari's other records to know just how special this one is. He is comfortable in his musical shoes and I love watching him strut.
