Do As Infinity has got to be one of the best bands period! After I heard their song "Fukai Mori" (Deep Forest) from my favorite Anime, Inuyasha, I decided to find out a bit more about Do As Infinity and get one of their c.d.s. I decided to get "Break of Dawn" and I think it's fantastic! Sometimes I wonder why not that many Americans appreciate this type of music. I really don't think it matters whether you can understand Japanese or not because you'll love this c.d. either way! If you like J-pop, then I really think you should get this c.d.

This is definately one of the greatest CD's on the market. The techniques used are totally different from what you normally hear, and I also agree, that once you hear this CD, you never want to let it go. It's fabulous!

I really enjoy Break of Dawn. I love Do as Infinity's work, and they kept me loving their songs even more when I got this lovely Xmas gift.
My favorites are Another and Heart. Oasis is nice too. But they did have ONE (just one) track I couldn't stand, and that was Painful, but I don't like rap, so I wouldn't like it even if it was in English.
Anyways, 5 stars, great album, I'd recommend to any JPop fan, especially those who like Inuyasha music (D.A.I does some of their music)

I'm actually a veteran to Japanese music, being of such heritage myself, and having three older sisters who are positively obsessed with the more mainstream groups. (Hamasaki Ayumi, L'arc en Ciel, Gackt, ect)

Not to say that DAI isn't mainstream, but they have a sound... and Van Tomiko a voice quality, that's a bit richer and a lot less stereotypical than the usual high-pitched pop princesses of the day, both here in the states and overseas.

Also, if you like this album, I recommend music by Utada Hikaru and Kaijura Yuki as well.

"Break Of Dawn" is the one of the finest CD on the market. My favorite song is "Tangerine Dream" and "Kokoro no Chizu". I promise, once you got this CD you will never want to return it back.
