It is a simple read....when suffering from burnout something more complex would just add to the exhaustion. --ForeWordReviews.com, July 2003

As a veteran marketing professional and a survivor of the high-tech and dotcom industries, I burned out not once, not twice, but three times. It took hitting the wall on the third occasion before I finally accepted that what I was doing was an exercise in futility. To keep doing the same things over and over and expecting a different result is one definition of insanity, isn't it?
Back then, "burnout" was not a widely recognized term or condition. There were no such people as professional coaches (at least, none that I knew of). There were therapists, there were career counselors, there were other "burnouts"; but there was no one I could turn to who could provide the clarity, support, and structures I so desperately needed to turn my life around. It seemed I had to figure this out on my own.
My journey from high-tech burnout to successful professional coach took ten arduous years of working mostly on my own. The biggest lesson I learned from that experience was that while pain may be inevitable, suffering is definitely optional.
I wrote this book to help you stop suffering from burnout, ASAP. I want to share with you the secrets of my clients' and my success so you don't have to suffer any more.
This is not a pipe dream. You can do this! I've been working successfully with clients for the past four years, and I've seen them break free from the cycle and go on to live wonderful, successful, happy lives. If they can, if I can...you can, too!
Make this book your trusty compaion, and let it give you a helping hand out of the abyss in which you find yourself or help you avoid burnout completely.
May you hear what your heart speaks and have the courage to follow it.
Blessings,
Mary Lewis
