This album sounds every bit as fresh as it did when it was released. Give it a listen and notice how the years have changed pop music. More economical in its sound, one could say innocent in sound, yet not in subject matter--this is a very romantic album, for those who can still appreciate the true aphrodesiac romance can be. Tracks like "My Little Town", a Paul Simon tune sung together with Art makes this listener long for what their continued collaboration could have been. "Lookin for the Right One", "Same Old Tears", and "99 Miles from LA", showcase Art's fabulous tenor, phrasing, and knack for the dramatic. Sure it is a little emotional, isn't that one of the things that makes music great?

This is an excellent album. I had this album 30 years ago in college and realized how much I missed it and had to have it on CD.

Art Garfunkel,

This is a magnificent album. I purchased on vinyl in 1975 when I was stationed in Germany. I have replaced it with cds (2- lost the first, replaced it with another copy, and of course immediately found the first cd) and expect I will eventually transition to downloading it to some MP3 player (will have to have my kids help me with this). This is magnificient because the lyrics have the same quality as a song written by Irving Berlin, or a Lerner & Loew musical (or a host of other writers from my father's time). It is a very romantic, sensitive album that unabashedly expresses masculine romanticism without pretext and insecurity. I am certain that when my daughter gets married I will choose a cut from this album for our father-daughter dance; not sure which one, but an appropriate one that conveys a message and transcends time (to my future son-in-law). BTW, don't confuse this album title with one by Kelly Clarkson of the same title (interesting how a successful title can be). If you want own non electron copy buy it while you still can. Will Penny
