Not impressed, December 12, 2005
This review is from: Breakdancing: Best B-Boying On Earth! (DVD)
The disc I received was a home made copy. I don't know whether this is typical for this DVD or not.
On the back of the cover it says "Approx. Running Time 60 minutes" when in fact my copy only had 27 minutes of material on it.
It also said on the back cover "inside information on how and why B-boying started" when there is in fact there is no such information included (not that I needed any such information, I'm just pointing out another inaccuracy in the promotion of this item).
I would also debate the description that says "the craziest physical feats of aero dynamics ever attempted". The moves were ok, but were pretty pedestrian and run of the mill.
Many of the clips were repeated to pad out the length of this DVD.
The sound track sounds butchered (with many tracks being cut not long after they have got going) which is no great loss as most of it is down tempo rap, rather than break beat.
As a package this is very disappointing (and would probably fall foul of trading standards laws here in the UK). No way is 27 mins approximately equal to 60 mins.

Garbage!, April 19, 2010
This review is from: Breakdancing: Best B-Boying On Earth! (DVD)
The other reviewers were right!
-Short running time.
-Clips repeated over and over again.
-No history of b-boying. And that is sad considering Crazy Legs and Rock Steady Crew appear scarcely here and there.
-Mediocre raps instead of b-boy breaks
-Average b-boy moves
-Homemade dvd with no extras
I'm very disappointed in this one. Buy "The Freshest Kids" instead.
