You blinked and missed it. This is most of Camper Van Beethoven rocking out minus David Lowery in 1987. A solid, inventive set of instrumentals; unfortunately some of the instrumentals have vocals. Busy little tunes (I'd describe most of them as a cross between prog rock and psychedelia) played with astonishing skill. This album deserved more attention than it got. Definitely worth finding, especially if you're a CVB fan.
