Very easy to follow the recipes and the food is great and is something everyone can make. I have tried several on my family and we all love it.

I borrowed this from the library, and showed it to my sister. I ended up getting her a copy as a gift. Then I moved to a different town, and now I need to buy it because my library doesn't have it! The book is pleasant, yummy, easy, including a timeline for prep and even has stuff to do the day before. For one of the breakfasts, I think it's the Christmas tree cutting party, she suggests that you have an open place on the table in case someone brings something. My sister was amazed when she saw that. She remembered a similar party she had put on where someone brought muffins, and she had forgotten to put them on the table!! It's fun just to read them. I use the recipes for other things too. One winter morning I got up and made the poached pears (fresh pears poached in cranberry juice, served ice cold) for breakfast, but we ended up going out instead. I took them to a dinner party we went to that night, and to my surprise and delight, the host put them on the salad he had made with walnuts. They were delish! It really is a super good book!

This cookbook is amazing. The recipes and menu suggestions are categorized by seasons: spring, summer, fall and winter. There are three additional chapters, Big Bashes, Breakfast for Health Conscious Friends and Breakfast Basics. The Shopping Guide and the Game Plan are helpful organizing tools not included in most cookbooks. The Game plan is my favorite. It gives instructions on prepping and preparing the meal up to two weeks in advance. An invaluable tool for those with time constraints. Here are some of the recipes included in the book. Strawberry-Orange Juice, Parmesan Toast, Cinnamon Pineapple, Fresh Pear and Vanilla Muffins, Double Corn and Chili Pancakes, Jim Dodge's Nutmeg Pear Pie, Swedish Potato Sausage, and Walnut Cinnamon-Chocolate Coffee Cake are some of the more exotic additions, but there are plenty of the basic fare to satisfy a fussy eater.
