5.0 out of 5 stars High quality recipes!, January 13, 2011
This review is from: Breaking Bread with Father Dominic 2 (Spiral-bound)
I had never baked a loaf of bread in my life before I bought this book. Then within a week I had a nice sourdough starter going (I had no idea what starter even was) and my first loaf is described by my husband as being "the best homemade bread I've ever had".
I'm looking forward to making some of the Ethnic Breads and my husband's been bugging me to make the Caramel Apple Cinnamon Rolls. The quality and thought put into these recipes shows. I trust this author and am looking forward to purchasing his other cookbooks once I have this one under my belt!
I love the little anecdotes written, they really are uplifting and quaint.
