You just can't go wrong with this book,

This review is from: Breaking Bread with Father Dominic (Spiral-bound)
This is one of the best bread books I have ever used! The recipes are easy and they work. I use a stand mixer with hook attachment and the dough comes out perfect every time. The ingredients are easy to find so there is no searching for that elusive exotic ingredient. I can't say enough good things about this book. If you can only buy one bread making book this would be my first choice!

This is a great cookbook for both beginners and experienced bread bakers. There are both traditional and bread machine recipes in this book. I have both his books and love them!!

Outstanding Book,

This must be the best bread baking book out there. Each recipe is accompanied by the bread machine version so there is no guessing on how it should be modified. The ingredients are easy to obtain in any market. I also love the side-bars concerning the monastic life. This makes the book a fun read on a rainy day even if you don't make any of the breads.

THE BEST,

We have a very expensive bread store in SC that sells bread for about $4 per loaf. It's wonderful stuff and though I have baked bread for a very long time (since my teen years), I have never gotten CLOSE to the quality of that bread store...that is...UNTIL NOW! Everything I have made from this book has been wonderful and at $4 per loaf I'll have this book paid for with one more recipe! LOL!!!

This book has great recipes and are easy to do. The pizza crust recipe is the only crust recipe that we use now. Next to "Artisan Breads in Five Minutes a Day" this is my other favorite. Won't give up!

If you've ever wanted to make homemade bread but were concerned that it might not turn out right, be comforted. Brother Dominic's reciped are clear, concise and easy to follow. I have several of his books and aside from delicious recipes, he gives good insight on ingredients, love, encouragement and faith. Have at it and enjoy!
