I own a hardback copy of this book and have read it through twice now. If you're tired of living in the stronghold of anything...addiction, pride, greed, jealousy, guilt, insecurity, etc., then pick up a copy of this book. Breaking free from those strongholds doesn't happen overnight. But once you realize how chained you are to the things from which Jesus/God can set you free, you're on your way. I am so very grateful God put this book in my path for I wouldn't take anything for the gift of BREAKING FREE! The word says, "I've come that you might have life and have it more abundantly." I believe it and I'm experiencing that even in the midst of trials. That's what happens when you have a Savior and believe He is who He says He is and believe He can do what He says He can do. So, feeling in bondage? Get this book and let God change your life through it.

When I purchased this book, I was feeling good about my spirituality and the direction I was heading in my life, but I still felt that I was missing a piece of the puzzle. While reading this book I was struck by the realization that some elements of my behavior and thought process were not "just my personality" but areas that God could bless and change for me. I learned while studying this book to let go of some deep past hurts. Hurts that I thought were already gone, but were really bubbling under the surface. This is a great book if you are willing to dig deep into your spirituality with an honest and open heart. I thank Beth for writing such liberating words based in scripture and for caring about people's hearts.

Studying this book moved me to new levels. My life mission is to foster continuous learning, growth and to inspire people to truly tap their God given talents. Beth's book is one very useful tool in this process for people.

This was given to me as a gift last month for Mother's Day and I love it! Beth Moore really has been used by God to speak straight to your heart. I love her challenging me in every chapter. It is exactly what I need. She has done it yet again!

This is a very intense book that you really need to take your time at reading. I read and take notes at the same time so I can absorb the information more fully. It is very worthwhile reading, and has been very beneficial to me in terms of "breaking free" of the things I have carried around. Some of them, I didn't even realize I was carrying around still!

I read "Breaking Free" during a church Bible study with a small group of women a few years ago. I never realized how my feelings were affecting my spiritual growth, and the way I saw God. Beth's study helped set me free from strongholds I'd been in bondage to for years! If you are ready to let go of your past and move onto a glorious future, this a great tool for helping you do that as you dive into God's Word for healing. Breaking Free is a fantastic book for anyone ready to break free from bondage to sin and generational strongholds. WOW...what a journey. I highly recommend this book. Be prepared to be blessed and to do some homework. Beth Moore presents her views in a personal and loving way. After reading this book I feel changed. I plan on re-reading it to get even more from it. It is that good.

This book is a Bible study and a lesson in Christianity that the reader / student won't soon forget. This is more than a sit down and give two minutes to a devotional type Bible study. This is a pull up a chair, pour a cup of coffee (or tea), grab a pen, notebook and Bible and prepare to spend some time with the Lord. You will be changed as a result. 290 pages.

I went through this Bible study several years ago during a tumultuous time in my life. I decided to do it again because my church library had the complete study available to check out. It is truly about the most helpful study I have taken for gaining understanding in the battle for our minds. I hope I can retain much of the knowledge that Beth Moore has taught in this marvelous, life changing teaching.

Love the author Beth Moore. This book includes a Study guide questionnaire which is very helpful in how I can think about the material. It brings another perspective to bring the bible back home to modern time today. I love how Beth takes huge biblical stories and condensed them into neat easily understood digestive format.
