When I first read this updated version of Breaking Free by Beth Moore, I led an online study with more than 50 women participating. Our experience as a group is that this study is LIFE changing. You will not be the same person on week one as week 10. The ten-week study is a transformation in thinking about our lives and the spiritual bondage that clutters it. When you read the workbook, you'll look back at generational bondage and discover the source of spiritual captivity. Then you'll learn tools for breaking free and step by step, this book will transform your life. In fact, the book was so powerful and popular, I'm leading a second online study with this book...and another 50 women! We're on on week 5, and people are already asking me to lead it a third time...

Women reading the book are learning that this Beth Moore bible study is like taking apart every little destructive thought cell, and replacing it with truth based on scripture. You may be dealing with obstacles of pride, idolatry, unbelief, prayerlessness and legalism. When you remove these five obstacles to faith, you experience the five benefits God intended for you.

The only excuse you'll have for not getting this book is fear. You may fear digging into the past, or facing God's plan for your life. Beth Moore is one of the few bible study authors who has your Christian growth at heart. When you do this study with an open heart to God's Word you will be set free. This is a fabulous study for those who are tired of living beneath their privileges.

Very thought provoking. Beth is amazing with her ability to reveal the Word of God in a practical, applicable manner. Your heart, soul, spirit - will be healed, restored, refreshed.

This study can be done alone or with others. It gives lots of scripture readings. If you would like to deepen your relationship with God, this is a great way to study His Word. On-line lectures are also available.

This study is everything you've heard it would be. I and many women engaged in the study are excited to be doing the Breaking Free sessions. The member book is really imperative to the study as it has "homework" that you complete during the 11 weeks of study. This is where a lot of the work is done. Beth is a great teacher and her passion and love for God is evident.

This is a wonderful, important study on how to break free from some of your past garbage or the garbage you take with you as a christian. This study is a definite yes is my book!!!

The study book is excellent. Helps one to strengthen their relationship with the Lord and develop the concept of Love - loving yourself, loving others, loving God.

I loved this Bible Study and so far is my favorite Beth Moore Bible Study!

This is the second Beth Moore study I was involved with. The first I loved; this one has not been good for me. Breaking Free seems to be written especially for people who have faced great challenges in life (abuse, addiction, criminal activity, etc.) It assumes that you have doubted God's power, questioned his love for you and that you are at the beginning of your relationship with God. For the right person it may be a wonderful Bible study that helps them grow closer in their spiritual life.

My friend and I were very uncomfortable with the study. It actually made us feel guilty that we hadn't faced abuse, addiction and other terrible things. It seemed as though the study just didn't fit people with more mundane challenges in life.

If this study has helped other people... that is wonderful. I just can't say that I have enjoyed much of it.

My expectations were different from the leader guide format. I was a little disappointed with the Leader Guide. Most leader guide supply answer to questions this does not. It provides a great timetable for holding a study with many people. I was wanting deeper information and answers to the questions.
