On the back cover of this book, the author promises that you'll learn many things, including:

"How to conquer fear once and for all." Actually, his advice on this point basically amounts to: You should conquer your fear. The "how" is not specified--it is assumed that once you recognize the importance of conquering your fear, you'll just do it on your own.

"How to set up a part-time home business for increased income." Again, the emphasis is not on the HOW, but on the fact that you SHOULD start such a business. Practical information is limited to: You should devise a product, and then find a way to market it.

"A simple ancient exercise to discover your life-purpose." This chapter amounts to little more than an exhortation to write down what you think your life-purpose is.

The rest of the book proceeds along similar lines. If you need motivation, perhaps this book will provide a kick in the pants. If you're already motivated, and what you really need are concrete details on HOW to navigate the world of business and achieve your goals, then you may find this book severely lacking,

This book is all over the map, alternating between motivational gibberish ("Don't EVER give up!"), basic financial theory ("Spend less than you earn") and dangerous advice ("Make your money grow at least 20% monthly"). Read "The Richest Man in Babylon" instead. It's cheaper and it has better advice.

Dr. Duckett has taken the main ingredients on "How to live a happy and prosperous life" and has broken it down into very easy steps. He dispenses real hope to each reader and supports it with a life-long plan that works! It has truly changed my life! Very simple and fast reading! He even carries the reader through an exercise on finding your own life's purpose! It should probably be called "Breaking LIFE'S Barriers For Better Living" because it takes you way beyond just your finances. Don't pass this one up - you will want to read it over and over again and share it with your loved-ones right away! I am giving this as an additional holiday gift to every member of my family!
