This book, continuing in the same Seuss-like style as "Tale of the Poisonous Yuck Bugs" (by the same author), is also written for young children. This one features brightly colored illustrations to catch young eyes, a mediocre story line that may cause the child concern for the bug that doesn't get out, and a very weak finish. The book seems to have 3 endings back to...

I love these books and author for my daughter. I already had "The Nineteenth of Maquerk" in a board book, and I have been looking for others. Great lessons to start teaching young children.

This book, continuing in the same Seuss-like style as "Tale of the Poisonous Yuck Bugs" (by the same author), is also written for young children. This one features brightly colored illustrations to catch young eyes, a mediocre story line that may cause the child concern for the bug that doesn't get out, and a very weak finish. The book seems to have 3 endings back to back and finally ends with a very questionable moral: that one should always listen to his/her friends and take their advice.

There are many better story choices for children.
