I think that this album is very impressive. I haven't heard a drummer play with this kind of energy since Heath Metzger with
Mock Orange, who also happens to be the one who introduced them to me. From the opening track I was hooked, and I would like any drummer who thinks he/she is good try to do what Ryan Rapsys does on "A hundred times and more". This was my introduction to Euphone, since then I have picked up every album and they are all great. I would recommend to any drummer who enjoys fresh, energetic playing.

I think that this Ep by Euphone is not that bad as some say,not at all.It is really driven music that in some moments suggest Isotope 217(openning The Sun Theme),but in some melodical way.You can find here really nice guitar melodies but played in more sub level,quieter and with medium groovey rhythm.Traces of Miles Davis(On The Corner faze) could be found on Little Warbles.Last song New Dusk Policy is insinuating Tortoise arrangements,with the last part very slowly played.This guys are always onto something,exploring.On every album they're trying something else to add to the whole feel.I think this is worth buying,even more if you are into mentioned kind of music.

I was first introduced to Euphone by a friend, with the self-titled album. Great drumming... this guy's got some chops. Then I heard "Calendar of Unlucky days". Wow. That album is where it's at. Funky beats, intricate layers of guitar and bass work...Definately Tortoise influenced, but not a bite of their style. Then I picked up the "Breaking parole" EP. I was really disapointed, it just doesn't have the flair that the self-titled shows hints of, and comes bursting through on the "Calendar". You can avoid this EP and not miss much, but at the rate Euphone has been improving with every release, I'd bet the family jewels that their next one will kick mucho booty.
