Choosing the wrong divorce attorney can be almost as painful as choosing the wrong spouse. BREAKING UP: FINDING AND WORKING WITH A NEW JERSEY DIVORCE ATTORNEY by Lynda L. Hinkle, Esq. provides an insider’s look at the divorce process in New Jersey and outlines the factors to consider when choosing a divorce lawyer. Hinkle advises on how to make the relationship work - with your lawyer - NOT your ex and dispenses pearls of wisdom based on her decades of practical experience in the field. Any New Jersey resident contemplating divorce needs to read this valuable book.

Lynda writes clearly, concisely & to the point. While the book is written for nJ residents, it offers good ideas & questions for anyone to ask who is interviewing for a divorce lawyer.

Finding a lawyer that you like is hard. This book breaks down that barrier and allows you to realize exactly what to look for when finding a lawyer. In New Jersey, we have a wide array of lawyers and honestly there are so many that it's safe to assume they are all good, but when they don't have the qualifications and meet the criteria set in the book, it is safe to say you should simply move on.

Ever wonder how to choose a lawyer? Breaking Up gives excellent advice. It's well written, easy to understand, informative and reassuring. Although directed expressly to clients contemplating divorce, the content would be helpful to anyone needing to select a lawyer.
