4.0 out of 5 stars Even better than the first May 11, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Emilia Wentworth will do anything to avenge her sister, including creating a burn list of all the people who wronged her family and her sister and seeking revenge for their transgressions. Over the past 3 years, Emilia has worked her way through the list and now there is only one name left, the worst of the transgressors - Macsen Sloan. Determined to make him pay, Emilia transfers to the same college as Macsen and begins plotting how to make him pay. But the more and more Emilia gets to know Macsen, the more she begins to doubt whether he is truly capable of hurting her sister in the way that he is accused. She even finds herself falling for him. Macsen, completely unaware of Emilia's intentions, finds himself opening up to Emilia in a way that he never has before. When the truth is finally revealed, Emilia and Macsen find their worlds turned upside down and their relationship teetering on the point of destruction. In order to save their relationship, both will need to move past the lies and the betrayal and embrace the truth...and each other.

While I liked Every Which Way, I LOVED Breaking the Wrong! It was by far the better book of the two. I love Macsen and there were plenty of steamy scenes in this book. The characters were much better developed in this book and it was full of plot twists and turns, most of which I did not see coming. This was definitely a page turner for me and I didn't want to stop until I reached the end, only to find myself wanting to start over and read it again. Breaking the Wrong gets 4 stars from me!

4.0 out of 5 stars Macsen's story April 19, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Loved the first book and although parts of this one were a little drawn out, it was just as good as Severine and Thayer's story! Macsen and Emiliana are great for each other but just can't seem to get on the same page.

4.0 out of 5 stars Macsen, Macsen, Macsen April 19, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Oh, Macsen Sloan, you complicated man you.

I liked the little glimpses of Thayer and Severine, and I hope they show up more in the future. Same with Emilia and Macsen. I like seeing how the couples are doing.

Emilia proved in this that you can't judge a book by its cover, but I think Macsen did as well. Overall, I liked it a lot.

5.0 out of 5 stars Can't get over Macsen. April 18, 2013
By loida
Format:Kindle Edition
Love love love this book. I will hold Macsen close to my heart. He deserved more than a happy ending. This book is much better than the first one. I re read this twice already. I love that he found a girlfriend who loves him in the person of Emilia who also had a secret agenda of her own. But love overcomes it all. How I wished there's an epilogue that shows the happy couple because it was just not enough. No matter how they have their happy ending, I still can't stop being sad about what the young Macsen was living his life. Separated from his father and brothers, being neglected and manipulated by his own mother at a young age. No child should deserved that.
I like this book a lot and Calia Read becomes one of my favorite. Looking forward for the next series.....as long as Macsen and Emilia are there.

Definitely the better of the two books. Took me a while to get into it. This book is not as "dry" as the first.

4.0 out of 5 stars Vote 1 for the Sloan brothers April 17, 2013
By Quinn
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I really enjoyed both of the books about the Sloan brothers and their love lives. Definitely the way they are described they are to die for in looks, but that wasn't their only good quality. If you're into the intense romance, with some fiesty women and hot guys, this is the one for you.

5.0 out of 5 stars I loved this book! April 16, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This is the first book by Calia Read I've read, and I loved it. I loved the characters and their chemistry and the story line. I admit, I hate reading a series where different couples are featured in each book. I fell in love with Emilia and Macsen and was bummed to find out the other book in the Solan Brothers series wasn't about those two. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a good contemporary book with great characters and steaminess.

4.0 out of 5 stars I really liked it. April 16, 2013

I really liked this book. Macsen and Emelia had a lot to overcome. Both characters were well developed and the plot was quite interesting. I really like how Calia Read weaves all of her characters into her stories. Very well written.
