Joey O'Connor is an award-winning screenwriter, author, pastor, speaker and retreat leader. He is the author of nineteen books for couples, parents and young adults. He is the founder and executive director of The Grove Center for the Arts & Media, a ministry dedicated to nurturing the spiritual development and creative vision of artists.

Joey is also the producer of the award-winning short film series, Unthinkable: The Scott Rigsby Story. With his screenwriting partner, Ken Straw, they have won five screenwriting awards in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, and Virginia. They currently have a feature film in preproduction.

Joey and his wife, Krista, live with their four children in San Clemente, California. He loves to read, surf, hike, run, play with his kids and look for sea glass.

Hi, I'm Jessica Millsaps, from Memphis and I bought this book the day before new Years at a retreat in Gallant, Alabama. The speaker, Chris Laurent really touched my heart, and this book explains stories of people who broke out of the boxes that hid their faith and ministered to the people around them! Chris challenged us to do the same! So I bought this book! It has been wonderful so far, and I hope that you have achance tp read it!
