This book is one-of-a-kind. If you have a reason to UNDERSTAND what breast cancer is all about, this book is fabulous. There are tons books that help you deal with the emotional side of cancer. There are quite a few books that give you a basic understanding of dealing with cancer treatment, what you will experience with chemo and radiation, and how to deal with it - but they are high level overviews. This is the only book that will allow you to become very EDUCATED on the subject, to really know what is happening in detail to your body when a patient has breast cancer, and therefore this book allows you to become a PARTNER with your doctor in discussing your options and dealing with treatment if you have breast cancer. A must read if you have to deal with this disease.
