About the Author
Jennie Yoon M.D. emmigrated to the U.S. from South Korea in 1981. She grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and received her B. A. degree at the University of Missouri. She earned her M.D. at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. Yoon completed her radiology residency and fellowship training in breast imaging at the Washington University School of Medicine and Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology. Currently, Dr. Yoon is Medical Director of Women’s Imaging at Florida Hospital in Orlando, Florida. She is the founder of the Jennie Yoon Buchanan M.D. Breast Cancer Fund Inc. The Fund provides free mammograms and related breast health services for women in need.
