I have Bev's audio books and as LCs, they are a benefit to us to listen to as Beverly has such a wonderful way of explaining breastfeeding to the new mom. I know that I have incorporated some of her teaching into my teaching. I have a couple that I loan to moms after a consult to reinforce my teaching. About the Author

Beverly Morgan is a pioneer in the field of breastfeeding education. She has been involved with breastfeeding since 1973. She became a La Leche League Leader in 1979, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 1986, and a lactation educator in 1989 through the UCLA ExtensionÂ’s Lactation Educator Program. She has published hundreds of articles, many of them on breastfeeding, and was the 1995 winner of the Achievement in Letters Award of the National League of American Pen Women Inc., Santa Clara County Branch She is a charter member of the Santa Clara Valley Breastfeeding Task Force, a board member of the San Jose Mothers Milk Bank and she maintains a private practice as a lactation consultant in San Jose, California. She was proclaimed Woman of the Year in 1999 by the American Biographical Institute.

If you've ever helplessly held a baby who is crying and wondered what they were trying to tell you, this is the book you need to listen too. After listening to Breastfeeding Basics and Beyond, I am now able to interpret my newborn baby's facial expressions and hand or leg positions to understand what he needs or wants. There is a lot less frustration on his part and mine. What more could a mother wish for in those early months?

As a busy mom of three children under the age of four, my youngest just a few weeks old, I found this audio book perfect to listen to while driving them all around town. It was easy to stick in the diaper bag and listen to at home while feeding the baby or cooking dinner as well. If only all of the books I wish to read were this convenient! The narrator's voice is very soothing and captures the attention well. I've had a variety of different levels of ease and hardships with my three individual babies with breastfeeding and how I wish I'd have known this information earlier, but it is so helpful with my third-born as well. I look forward to listening to Beverly Morgan's other audio books too!
