First of all there are not enough stars available to rate the quality of this film! I would give it an easy 10 out of 10!!
I just watched "Breastfeeding Intensive" and it is the very best breastfeeding video I have ever seen, and having been involved with childbirth education and beyond for a very long time and also being a former LLL Leader, I have viewed a lot of them! This is done far superior to any of the others I have ever seem. Very comprehensive, an absolutely beautifully done movie!One you should add to your collection.

Are you looking for a little bit more than the basics of breastfeeding? If you are a parent-to-be, a friend or relative of a parent-to-be, or perhaps a healthcare professional who is looking for a beyond excellent breastfeeding video that has the best information with exceptional photography, you will find it in this DVD.

The basics are covered including the importance of preparation by education. A fascinating section on how the breast makes milk from early colostrum to mature milk is included. Parents will learn not just how to nurse, but how often, and how to know baby is getting enough. Recommendations for getting help and joining support groups are given.

If a 45 minute DVD on breastfeeding is the right time length for your needs, choose this DVD. Also check out the other DVDs in this series, the 20 minute "Breastfeeding Basics" and the 130 minute "Breastfeeding Comprehensive."

As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant I strongly recommend this DVD. It is so beautiful, and so helpful by presenting the basics and just a little bit more. I give this way over 5 stars.

The video is well made. However, there is no way in the world one can learn to breastfeed from a video. So, save your money and don't make my mistake.

I thought this DVD was good until I watched a video from Jack Newman. Jack Newman's video is the only one you need. I feel I wasted my money on this video now .
