Goodpaster makes good usage of contemporary ideas and language in challenging his audience to consider the Good News of Jesus Christ as a model for living. His message for each of the short sermons seems to be, "try the Christian faith and your life will be better." There is no bible thumping or bulldozer theatrics in this work, just one man's straightforward message of the practical essence of a life of faith.
