Like Martina McBride's "White Christmas", Vince Gill adds an orchestra and belts out the standard Christmas classics with style and grace!

If you are looking for a 'twangy Christmas album... this isn't the one for you! This album has such pure voice added to the smooth sounds of the orchestra that makes it perfect for your collection.

There aren't many who can match Vince's voice and I was glad to see him do another Christmas album with more of the standard classics. The title track is a noticeable standout and well written by Amy Grant.

For a standard Christmas album, buy this one.

For a great Vince Gill Christmas album with wonderful new Christmas songs, buy his "Let There Be Peace On Earth" album. Both make a great companion to each other!

It may only have been a year since this Christmas album was released, but it is indeed a classic already. I believe that this is one of the most beautiful Christmas recordings I have ever listened to and I rank it at the top with Nat King Cole's "The Christmas Song" album.

When you listen to the DTS version of this album you feel as if you are part of the recording experience as it puts you in the center of the music. Beautiful orchestrations and a wonderful choir complement the mood. This is a great Christmas album worth 5 stars plus.

This is by far the best Christmas album I have ever heard and my wife has made me buy tons of them. I am not a great reviewer of music, I don't play or sing and I can't read music, but I know good music when I hear it. This is not your traditional country star's album. It is just one classic christmas song after another. I love the rendition of Blue Christmas.
So if you want a really good Christmas album, this is for you.

Vince's voice has never sounded better. The arrangements, background vocals and orchestra all combine to make this my very favorite Christmas album and possibly my favorite album of all time. I especially love Breath of Heaven and A Cradle in Bethlehem! I'm considering buying this for everyone in my family for Christmas. I wish I had found it last Christmas.

I love this CD. I have bought all of my family that live out of state this CD for Christmas '99. Vince has the most beautiful voice for a man, and I hope he continues to make many more albums. Anybody thinking about buying this CD, I highly recommend it!

One will forgive Vince for singing other people's songs in this instance. His second Christmas album brings more from this unique tenor. Vince shows that he is well able to enjoy a light hearted ditty, while on other tracks he can effortlessly deliver a wonderful hymn such as "Breath of Heaven", the best on this collection. I was lucky enough to catch Vince Friday night when he kicked off his Christmas tour at the Rosemont Horizon in Chicago. This man sings even better live than in the studio! Order this album today and enjoy the beauty of classic Vince.

Nothing can match Vince Gill's voice. If you are considering buying a new Christmas CD this year, discover Vince. His style is smooth, clear and perfectly on key!! The spirit of Christmas comes through loud and clear.

This is another WINNER, much like his last Christmas CD, lush and beautiful and one that will be collected for a long time to come. This is Christmas magic just like the beautiful "Let there be peace on earth" (93') There is just something about
the classic timeless arrangements that worked so well during
the past half century and gives Vince Gill's voice something
for future generations to savor. "Breath of Heaven" is a classic
song, nobody can touch Vince Gill when he takes on a song
like this.

I was fortunate enough to see Vince Gill just before Christmas of '98 when he was in concert singing just Christmas songs & promoting this CD. He was wonderful. He really put us in the spirit. I took someone along with me who didn't think he'd like to hear Vince sing just Christmas songs. He loved it. This is a must buy!

I don't know what Yvonne's problem is, but if these songs were too high for Vince to sing well, he would have said something. Let's not forget the fact that he's a professional who's been around a while. He's going to do what's in his best interest as a performer. This album is wonderfully produced. The songs are beautifully arranged. It's a perfect addition for anyone who is tired of the new "jiggy" style Christmas CD's that are coming out now. ...VERY CLASSY!
