Tastes similar to those little european floral breath candies--- also has a bit of mint at the end. I liked a lot better than other natural lavender toothpaste found at drugstore. Only "downside" for some people might be the very small size of the tube-- but you only use a little bit, so each still lasts a long time for me. I also like their rose flavor a lot.

These Breath Palette toothpastes are lovely and fun to share as gifts. The texture is smooth and pearly; the flavors are delicate and intricate. I've tried the salty-sweet and the cinnamon. My kids think they are super-fun.

Even though the amount described here is accurate, I wasn't expecting the tube to be so small. Tiny for $4.95. Also, the production and distribution of this Japanese-made product isn't worked out yet. Lots of the flavors were unavailable as of December 2010, with no new product expected until the manufacturer came out with a completely new palette. While I like the concept, I hope they get their act together so that this product can make healthy sales and they can stay in business.

Still, 4 stars for a unique and well-executed innovation in toothpaste.
