5.0 out of 5 stars Breathe Right Kids
I have a five year old who's had sinus issues for a couple of years now. He's been tested for allegies (negative) and has several sinus infections a year. I've found that he gets congested when he eats foods containing dairy or soy, so I've cut those out of his diet. The ENTs suspect that he has large sinuses, and he's just been for a CT scan. All this to say that...

the product is near to expire when I received it. It's really a bad thing. I don't know if that's why it's on sale. But the seller didn't say or imply it. Bad, bad, bad, ....

p.s. finally I got to now how to recognize the expiration date that I got to know from the maker. That's why I didn't know and wrote this late review.

All this to say that we've been battling congestion seriously for a long time. When he's in school, especially during the Winter and Spring, we usually have to irrigate his nose nightly. If he catches a cold, then twice a day. But no matter what the time of year or the state of his health, he wears a Breathe Right kids nose strip to bed every night. Without it, he does not sleep well. I couldn't give him a decongestant every night, but I feel completely comfortable putting a nose strip on him nightly. I will say that I make sure I wash his nose (on the outside) before putting the strip on, not only to help it stick, but to avoid a skin infection - in Winter when the heat is on and his skin is dry, removing the strip can take off some of the skin on the side of his nose. During those times, I wet the strip thoroughly before carefully peeling it off. The rest of the time he takes them off himself, which brings me to the only down side - nose strips discarded here and there around the house!

5.0 out of 5 stars really opens up the nose, March 26, 2010

This is a great alternative for kids when they have a stuffy nose and can't breathe at night. My son loves putting these one at night, he describes it as his "nose opening up" which sounds like I too am getting a better nights sleep! Try these before medicine, they might just do the trick!

5.0 out of 5 stars Life Changing!, November 7, 2011

My 5 year old daughter has snored loudly since she was a baby. My Dad recently made a joke that she needed to wear Breathe Right strips so I ordered some and after a week of wearing them, she's a new kid! I used to spend 15 minutes getting her out of bed and another 15 trying to get her to get her to get ready for school. Now she gets up on her own and comes downstairs ready for school. I'm beginning to think that my difficult child has been sleep deprived all of these years. I'm going to talk to her pediatrician at her next appointment about possible permanent solutions but for now, these work wonders!!!

I did notice that some of them don't stick as well as I would like so I make sure that she washes her face before bed and we wait until it's completely dry before applying.

5.0 out of 5 stars wonderful product!, October 29, 2011

This is absolutely a wonderful product. My 4 year old used to snore so hard at night to the point that he would have sleep apnea. We were actually already suggested by our ped to get a sleep study for him. One of the ENT doctors even suggested a tonsil removel might be necessary. Frankly when I researched on the procedure, I was horrified by the images of new wounds from tonsil removal. I decided to try some less intrusive methods. This is how I started using Breathe Right nose strip. And what a miracle! My son's snoring problem is so much better that it does not bother him or me any more. Now everday my son can sleep through the night peacefully and gets up with tons of energy! 2 thumbs up!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for Adults with Small Noses, August 24, 2011

I had tried the small/medium adult strips and they didn't work for me. Kept me awake, irritated me and generally drove me nuts. Then, on a whim, I tried the kids strips I had purchased for my 8-yr-old. After washing my nose squeaky clean, I put on this bright green strip with stars and was able to breathe! I have terrible allergies year-round and am tired of being medicated and living fatigued. (My husband is tired of my snoring) I slept well, woke up refreshed, (so did hubby!) and didn't have a headache. Yea! I am purchasing 90-days worth at my family's urging... My teenager thinks the colors look hilariously fun on me. :)

4.0 out of 5 stars Good but needs improvement, April 29, 2011

I purchased these strips for my daughters because they suffer from seasonal allergies that seem to get worse at night. Whe they are trying to fall asleep, their nasal passages get really clogged up and these strips have helped tremendously. The only negative thing about them is that they don't stay on very well. It seems that the adhesive on the strip is not very sticky. Otherwise, I am pleased with the results and my daughters have had better sleep.

5.0 out of 5 stars My 5 yr old SLEEPS GREAT when he has a cold., January 19, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
My local pharmacies (CVS and Walgreens) stopped carrying these for some reason.. So I found them on Amazon... I use the adult version and whenever I have a cold or minor allergy, these are great.. My son inherited my nasal congestion, therefore I found these child nasal strips... He asks me to wear them whenever he is stuffy... They go on easily and come off just the same. Little warm water and the peel right off...

My son loves them and so do I... Great product..

My daughter puts a Breathe Right on at night when her nose is stuffy and has a much better night's sleep than she would without one. We always make sure we have the kids Breathe Rights in the house!
