Good Piece of Information About a Great Movie,
By

This review is from: Breathless: Jean-Luc Godard, director (Rutgers Films in Print) (Paperback)
This book is a good guide to one of the most interesting movies of our time. This book not only gives the reader some background material about how it came to be, but it also has the script of the movie included for you to read. Even though there was no real script when the film was made, the editor of the book was able to break down the movie shot by shot and give the reader some sort of continuity script. The end of the book is filled with interviews and reviews of the film. I think this book is a very good tool for those interested in the movie "Breathless" because it helps you understand not only the movie a little better, but the method behind Jean-Luc Goddard's madness. I would definitely recommend this book to those who want to learn more about this innovative and extremely interesting piece of film! |
