Courtesy of A Romance ReviewBreathless is another out of print of Ms Cameron that published in 1994. Like the other romantic suspense of Ms Cameron, this book is intriguing and full of suspense, mysteries and excitement. There are a lot of suspects of Sin's attempted killer but readers won't be able to find out until the end of the book. Another fast pace page-turner of Ms Cameron that should not be missed!

Romantic Suspense,

Another great story from Stella Cameron. This story has it all - a mystery to keep you guessing and a hot romance between the main characters who aren't sure if they should trust one another. Several attempts have been made on Sin's life and when a beautiful biographer shows up on his island, he can't decide whether it is safe to trust her. Angel has some ulterior motives for digging up information on Sin but is she wrong about what type of person he is? Sin and Angel must decide whether they should trust their feelings for one another, and hope they both survive the danger surrounding Sin to get that chance.

A couple of times in the reading of this book I had to wonder how a supposedly intelligent woman could have not caught on to the real danger of the plot, but otherwise it's a wonderful book. As usual, Stella has left me wanting more of her stories with the teaser chapter of her upcoming series. I can't wait to visit Chimney Rock.

I read this when it came out and loved it. When it released in Kindle format, I immediately ordered it so I could reread this exciting romantic suspense by one of my favorite authors.
Our hero is aloof and remorseless. Our heroine is brave and steadfast. But the character I loved best is Willis, the Samoan employee, who is enigmatic, randy, and grounding to the entire story. This is a typical Stella suspense, with danger, twists, turns, and surprises from literally every character. Her writing has gotten even better since, but Breathless remains one of her most exciting books.

Stella Cameron, as always, delivers true to life characters, plot and action. This book is true to her style, with a twist now and then.

Too, too silly!,

No way could I sympathize, never mind identify with a supposedly professional woman whose first action upon arriving on a private island officially to interview a well-known millionaire, is to go swimming at night, at sea, stark naked! She should have drowned and saved us from reading misery. I don't much like Ms. Cameron's choppy writing style and the presence, in all the novels I've tried from this author, of the slut "de service" to provide an excuse for smutty, brutal sex scenes.
