A bit disappointed
This book has a section that has short descriptions for diseases included in the book, and a section that is listed by breed (cats & dogs) with the diseases each breed is predisposed to. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a section broken down by disease listing the animals predisposed to those diseases.

The second updated edition of Alex Gough and Alison Thomas' BREED PREDISPOSITIONS TO DISEASE IN DOGS AND CATS provides an invaluable and unique reference gathering under one cover all the different details on breed-specific diseases. Breed-by-breed, with one section for dogs and one for cats, describes inherited and prevalent disorders and provides details gleaned from veterinary references and research journals alike. Ne to this edition is expanded referencing to primary sources, an easier format, and an extended directory of genetic test providers. Highly recommended!
