I have been playing bass on-and-off for about 20 years and this bass is, without a doubt, the best I've ever owned. Upon receiving it, I immediately changed the roundwound strings it came with to Fender stainless steel flatwounds and that was it. It feels great and the tone sounds beautiful when jamming. Comes with a heavy duty hardshell case.

I can't say enough good things about this bass and I highly recommend it.

I am in love with this bass! The acoustic sound is sweet, very woody and upright-ish. The pickup system does a great job of translating that sound into an amp, and the built-in tuner is a nice addition. I was skeptical about the monitor soundhole, but it really does make it easier to hear. What an unbelievable value! Mine came in a hardshell case, not a gig bag, which is great. It came with roundwound strings, and I may switch to flatwounds. The roundwounds are leaving their mark on the fingerboard already, but I don't think it's anything to worry about, just surface wear. I hit ORDER NOW when Amazon had this thing marked way down, but it would be a great deal at the listed price as well. Great job Breedlove! I would recommend this bass to anyone interested in a fretless acoustic bass, it's the best sounding one I've ever heard!
