Fantastic Bargain,

This review is from: Breguet Classique Complications Tourbillon Messidor Mens Rose Gold Watch 5335BR/42/9W6 (Watch)
I actually first saw this watch at a neat little store in Luxembourg, as I was refilling my ruby-encrusted helicopter with gasoline made out of unicorn tears. I passed it by, thinking nothing of it, but as I landed on the solid gold helipad of my fourteen-story chateau, it got me thinking: What am I missing in my life? I asked my pedigree manservant to fetch me the name of this trivial timepiece, and with a knowing chuckle I discovered that this Tourbillon watch came from the same countryside workshop as my armoir made of faberge eggs! Hearing this, of course, it had to be mine. Having purchased this watch, I can tell you first hand that it is worth every penny. The ability to tell the time when I look at my wrist is well worth the money. Of course, I had to buy three for my long-wristed manservant; sometimes it is a bit too much trouble to look at one's own arm. But whether you're scaling a custom-made solid platinum full-scale replica of Mt. Everest, or diving to the depths of the Adriatic Sea in your sapphire-encrusted submarine, you can be sure that this watch will tell you the time.

Completes my ensemble,
This review is from: Breguet Classique Complications Tourbillon Messidor Mens Rose Gold Watch 5335BR/42/9W6 (Watch)
After purchasing the The Mountain Three Wolf Moon Short Sleeve Tee, I felt I needed a time piece to complete my ensemble. This watch certainly did the trick. Now when I go to Wal-Mart not only are women who drive ordinary electric scooters throwing themselves at me, women with gold plated scooters are doing the same. This watch has changed my life.

Work of Art,

This review is from: Breguet Classique Complications Tourbillon Messidor Mens Rose Gold Watch 5335BR/42/9W6 (Watch)
Yes, Breguet is a very respected name in horological circles and yes, making a tourbillon watch is a tour de force. I mean who better to build a tourbillon watch than the company founded by the man who invented the tourbillon in the first place? Let's face it, the Messidor is a wearable work of art with impeccable provenance. Yet, there is something here that is not quite right, a detail that causes minor pause; the shipping charge. If I am going to spend the GDP of a small West African country for a watch, the least the seller could do is throw in free shipping! Really, how miserly do you have to be to charge $9.95 shipping on an item that costs the same as fourteen Rolexes or 28 Omega Seamasters or 5,900 Timexes? Simply because the seller tacked on the shipping charge in a blatant attempt to milk the customer for every cent, I will not be purchasing this timepiece.

I got this on Black Friday for $99,999 otherwise I wouldn't have bought it for what it's selling here.
>> Pros: It's worth every penny and here's why the watch is this expensive: THE HANDS ON THIS WATCH DON'T TURN! The hands actually remain stationary and the watch turns the whole universe around the central pivot point. Sure it goes off a few seconds here and there but for a universe-propelling mechanism it's surprisingly accurate and the battery life is relatively reasonable. >> Cons: as it is not stocked by Amazon, you're not elligble for free super-saver shipping. And UPS won't leave this at the door. Still, all in all, not a bad way to spend your tax refund.

Doesn't work,
This review is from: Breguet Classique Complications Tourbillon Messidor Mens Rose Gold Watch 5335BR/42/9W6 (Watch)
I bought one and it didn't work. Took the back off to change the battery and all these bits fell out. Now Argos won't give me my money back. Load of old bollocks.

Useful I suppose,
This review is from: Breguet Classique Complications Tourbillon Messidor Mens Rose Gold Watch 5335BR/42/9W6 (Watch)
As I was awoken from my slumber one bright morning by my pet miniature Siberian elephant, Truffles; I found stuck in his gold encrusted silken night cap a rather odd piece of common folk fluffery. As so not to soil my digits with this object, I called my thirty two Japanese maidens to slip my spider silk glove onto my hand, so that I could point at the button they needed to press to call my Venetian manservant Gyles. As I awaited for Gyles to be flown over from his humble living quarters to my Bedroom / Casino, I noticed that this commoner tool was coincidentally showing the same face with time as a clock I had been told of in the room on the two hundredth acre of the mansion - minus the golden peacock teeth and elf tear linings of course.
So as to embrace my humility, I had my Swedish feather fan...Edith? I believe her name was..to remove the object from beneath my poor distressed pets cap whilst in wait for Gyles arrival. As she struggled to remove it, I thought to myself: 'How curious that there would be more time in the world...and also on such a trivial creation...', I sipped long on deep on my chilled liquefied silver tea... Finally Edith? was it? wrestled the beastly mechanation free from my dear Truffles cap, it was quite timely too, as it was time for the daily pet replacement.... She placed the object in front of my diamond lensed monocle, and then lifted the table so that my eyes could look through it. I was surprised to see that this...'watch' was quite sleek in design, and had an almost similar look to not just that clock, but also my obsidian tower in which I play squash and heli-lacrosse on every Wednesday with Bill Gates and Robo-Tut.. I was quite amused at this cute thing, and just as I was about to touch it, I was luckily saved by Gyles floating into the room on his service jet pack, to explain to me that it was indeed called a 'watch'. What shall I do with it? I thought to myself, with Gyles telling me my thoughts aloud before I think them...and then it came to me...I had been suffering all this morning looking at my holo-tube at a slight angle, because, alas, one of the 28 platinum legs of the holo-tube stand was drastically crooked. The size of this cute little timepiece seemed to be just the right fit for the gap. Upon this discovery, I had Gyles contact the Manila military to carry out the operation, sliding the device under the stand, and saving me from having to replace another holo-tube and stand a day early. So if your a conservative like myself, living humbly and within your means, and have a stand or bed or 'chair' to balance..then I would recommended this watch. Also I suppose that ability to tell time may also be useful, but you'd only be borrowing it from me..and could instead save yourself the trouble by contacting me via space-bridge.

We were in Vegas a few weeks ago and saw this at a Tourbillon shop in The Crystals shopping mile in the new CityCenter area. It is a fantastic watch, if you can afford it. It's cheaper there, by about $10k. Or, you could put a down payment on a house. Anyway, buy it in Vegas, not here on Amazon.

Fantastic watch at a bargain price!,
This review is from: Breguet Classique Complications Tourbillon Messidor Mens Rose Gold Watch 5335BR/42/9W6 (Watch)
What more can I say about this timepiece other than it's not only the best watch on the market, but also one of the cheapest. What first caught my attention is how you can see the dials working inside the watch, but you don't have to open up the watch! Amazing. One of a kind. You won't see this type of watch at your local pawn shop, no sir. I also like how the leather is made from real cows, not that pleather stuff. Remarkable. This watch may not be atomic, but let me tell you that it only loses about 12-18 seconds a week. Speechless. Even on my $100 million salary I can't quite afford an atomic watch, which keeps almost perfect time, so I had to settle for 2nd best, but let me tell you...I'm glad I did. Outstanding. For all you bargain shoppers out there, if you purchase this watch the company will send you a free box with your purchase so that you can store your timepiece out of harms way when you are doing dangerous things, such as walking your dog or going to the bathroom. Breathless. Pick one up at your local grocery store today!

A bargain,

I saw this watch on Amazon and I was despondent because I just had to have it but could not afford $118,199.99. Then, in reading the listing carefully, I noticed that Amazon offers interest free financing for six months on purchases exceeding $149. I realized that if I came up with less than $20,000 a month stretched out for six months, I could own this essential addition to any man's assessories. I did not need to pay for it all at once. Wow, with just six easy payments of under $20,000, this watch could be yours! Amazon's generous financing makes this wonderful timepiece affordable for all of us. And, until now, I thought only Timex, Casio and Armitron marketed watches at popular prices.

When I first saw this watch it was love at first sight. Too bad, at the time, it was attached to the wrist of a North Hollywood mob boss named Dicky Lareau. Go figure. Anyway, the watch was so spectacular that I lost all fear (read common sense) of big ugly thugs in tight pants, and approached him, and his friends, about the possibility of perhaps buying it from him. However, Dicky's friends soon persuaded me to look else where, and once I woke up from my coma I decided to check out Amazon. Which, coincidently enough, is where I found myself upon waking up. So, after I woke up, I used the skull of a large crocodile and chipped the cement shoes off my feet, then I peeled the leaches off my nether regions, escaped from a school of hungry piranha with only three toes, and a pinky finger missing. I finally made it back to civilization, with the help of a tribe of cannibals, and this time there were only two toes, and another unmentionable appendage missing. Once I finally found an internet cafe I wasted no time in going on line and trying to buy this watch. Unfortunately I didn't exactly have the $118k needed to make the purchase, but since my elderly mother already had one foot in the grave, and the other in a cement shoe (Seems as though Dicky's friends weren't as thorough with her as they were with me. The pansy's...) I decided that I should get her a $118k life insurance policy. So I did. Then the very next week I took her fishing, (almost kicking and screaming), near Niagara Falls with a new set of her own cement shoes, (see what I mean) and when she bent over to pull in the anchor chain attached to her new shoes...well you get the picture. I then ran out and bought this fantastic new Breguet Classique with the life insurance money. Unfortunately a week later I had to sell this beautiful watch to a pawn shop in order to pay my lawyers retainer fee. Seems as though if you decide to go fishing with your elderly mother very near Niagara Falls you should try to avoid all the tourist boats, and the 1700 tourists all sporting camera phones. I mean, who knew?
