This soundtrack is a fantastic mixture of Norse, Celtic, and monastic choral music, ranging from medieval to almost modern sounding. And of course Aisling's Pangar Ban song. :) I've been loving every minute of this while it downloads!

Considering the only alternative is an expensive import, this inexpensive MP3 album is a steal.

Now if only those of us in the US who are drooling over this lovely-looking film could actually see the visuals to go with the music! @_@ No showings listed for Oregon yet, but I'm considering taking a trip up to Seattle in May to check it out. I'm that excited about it!

This soundtrack to the movie, THE SECRET OF KELLS, is a delightful replay of the movie's well-played and intriguing music. The style is Celtic, but accessible to listeners who are either not familiar with (or tired of) the genre. It evokes the movie accurately and is a good place-marker until the DVD is released this fall. Our order arrived quickly and in good condition!
